A Bit About Me
Hello. I am Phylese Petrie, a twenty-five-year-old college graduate ready for the next chapter in my life. Because fashion was something I resonated with growing up, I came to Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), wanting a career in the industry. Since attending school, I became a model my sophomore year, formed MTSU's first fashion club along with a few friends I've made from my TXMD (Textiles, Merchandising, and Design) courses in my junior year, and gained retail experience and organized a fashion show during my senior year.

Currently, I'm a data entry coordinator associated with the Tennessee Department of Health. I work with Excel frequently. In doing so, I have learned several tips and tricks on how to use it more proficiently and efficiently. I was also introduced to Canva and used it to take on more creative tolls in our projects and presentations.

As a seasonial sales associate, I was responsible for maintaining a positive, friendly, and empathetic experience with all customers resulting in more customer loyalty. (I go into more detail about this on my 'Experiences' page)
As a phone operator, I encouraged MTSU alumni to give to any MTSU funds, organizations, and/or scholarships, resulting in current MTSU students receiving more enriching college experiences.
As a Data Entry Coordinator, I am responsible for the aggregation, organization, maintenance, and intelligent reporting of the data compiled by the rest of the team by using Microsoft Office including Excel along with the other advanced options. I manage documents by organizing lab forms, filing records, preparing correspondence, and creating reports for positive cases.
